Your positions don’t depend on your connection

Section titled “Your positions don’t depend on your connection”

Your session runs in the cloud, so your stops, trailing and risk limits keep working when your laptop sleeps or your Wi-Fi drops. When you reconnect, your screen picks up exactly where it left off.

If the server running your session fails, the session is restarted on a healthy one with all its data. Your session never runs twice, so there’s no risk of duplicate orders.

How long recovery takes depends on the failure: the cluster has to notice the node is gone, clean up the old copy and reattach your session’s storage, so there is no fixed time promise. Meanwhile, stop orders already resting at your broker keep protecting you, but anything the engine does itself, such as raising a trailing stop, waits until the session is back. When it returns, it reconciles its book with your broker before carrying on.

After every reconnect, and regularly in between, TradeShell checks its orders and positions against your broker and flags anything that differs.

Closing cancels your stop, waits for the broker to confirm, then sells. A protective stop waits until your buys have finished filling.

Prices always refresh to the newest quote. Orders, fills and status changes are never merged, skipped or delayed.

Market hours, holidays and early closes are built in.
