Welcome to TradeShell
TradeShell runs your options trading desk in a secure, isolated session hosted about 2 ms from major brokerages. It streams the options chain from your own broker, places orders with two-key chords, and runs an engine that protects and trails your positions. You drive it from the web client in your browser or the native terminal client, or both at once.
How it fits together
Section titled “How it fits together”- Accounts are the brokerage connections you add in the app: Alpaca, Tradier or tastytrade, paper or live.
- Sessions are running trading desks. Each one owns its broker connections, order book, stops and journal. Each one runs in its own private, isolated environment next to the market.
- Clients attach to a session: the browser terminal, the
tradeshellcommand-line client, or both at once. Every client sees the same desk.
Try it in two minutes
Section titled “Try it in two minutes”- Sign in with your email address. No password is needed: you get a one-time code.
- Choose New session, leave the account as No account · Mock session, and start it. Mock sessions run a simulated market and broker, so they work at any hour and nothing leaves the session.
- Choose Open trading terminal. Select a call with the arrow keys and press b then 3 to buy 10 contracts.
Then follow Your first trade for a guided tour.
